An Excelsior Springs woman has been granted a bond reduction after being arrested for allegedly discharging a firearm during a domestic violence altercation while children were present. Brandi Brand, 47, is facing three felony charges, including firstdegree domestic assault; first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, creating substantial risk without sexual contact; and unlawful use of a weapon, discharging into a home, motor vehicle or other means of transportation.

A strong emphasis is being placed on the importance of mental and physical well-being at Excelsior Springs Hospital (ESH). This dual focus is particularly crucial considering the frequently neglected connection between mental and cardiovascular health.
