EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Excelsior Springs Hospital announced the Excelsior Springs Primary Care Center is on the hospital campus. The campus includes a full-service hospital and emergency care department, doctors’ offices, community pharmacy, outpatient services and inpatient services.

Rumore heads to Class 4 state XC meet for Tigers

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Tyler Rumore has achieved the goal many Missouri high school cross country runners strive to attain: a trip to state competition. The Excelsior Springs junior secured his spot in the Class 4 state boys race, scheduled for 11 a.m.

RICHMOND – Clay County announced settlements in discrimination cases involving five top-tier employees who will leave county employment “on or before Dec. 31.”

“It is appropriate that the new commission will be able to start with a new staff and really turn the page for Clay County,” Presiding Commissioner Jerry Nolte said.

LIBERTY – After Circuit Judge James Van Amburg ruled the Clay County Commission must turn over records commissioners seek to keep secret from Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway, the commission issued a statement that the ruling did not provide adequate time for appeal.
