City gives nod to company for additional road projects

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The city is again calling on Lamp Rynearson to oversee road maintenance and repairs. On April 4, the City Council approved Public Works Director Chad Birdsong’s request to hire the multiservice company for $47,400 for engineering work on this year’s milling, overlay and repair projects.
STREET WORK will address cracks like these.

Partnership gets $50,000

EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Downtown Excelsior Partnership, or DEP, received $50,000 to allocate grants for external building improvements downtown. On April 4 at the Hall of Waters, the City Council approved the money for the DEP’s Façade Program.

TROLLEY SERVICE REMAINS ON TRACK WITHOUT TRACKS

THE TROLLIES are running in Excelsior Springs. On Saturday, this one carries people around downtown for the Hop and Shop. The other two trollies carry guests on the Easter Bunny Trolley Scavenger Hunt, which involves driving around town, including at the community center, while following clues for those hunting the Easter Bunny.
