Wyman power plant demolished

Body
Dehn Demolition razed the Wyman power plant early this week and cleanup is underway. On June 6, the City Council approved Dehn’s $24,400 bid to level the plant, located in the 100 block of Dunbar sitting southwest of the Wyman School.
A HOLE is all that remains of the 109-year-old power plant that once provided heat to Wyman School. Dehn Demolition razed the building after it had been deemed unsafe by city officials. Wyman itself remains standing. BRIAN RICE | Staff
