Burton signs with Simpson

Excelsior Springs High School is sending another girls wrestler to the next level. Vada Burton, a senior, recently signed her letter of intent to study and wrestle at Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa.

The Excelsior Springs Police Department reported the following arrests handled recently by the department. WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 23 At 9:53 a.m., Austin Berg, III, 58, was arrested for outside warrant service.

Holiday Train through Excelsior Springs

Santa Claus is known to travel by reindeer and a sleigh, for special occasions he will travel by train. The Canadian Pacific (CP) Holiday Train returned on its rails this holiday season cross-continent tour in three years and rode through Excelsior Springs on Sunday.
