Council approves resolutions, moves ahead on assorted projects
The Excelsior Springs City Council recently approved several resolutions related to infrastructure and equipment.“This has been a long process and we’re pleased to bring forward options that meet city specifications and fall within our budget,” said Public Works Director Chad Birdsong.The council approved the purchase of a 2024 Ford F-550 truck with a dump body for the water department. The vehicle, purchased through Olathe Commercial Sales, will cost $92,392 and fall under the department’s $95,000 budget.
