District shares support services after tragic loss
Following the tragic loss of Excelsior Springs High School student Wyatt Speakman in a recent vehicle accident, the Excelsior Springs School District is extending its support to students, staff and families by offering counseling services and sharing community mental health resources.“Wyatt was a kind, thoughtful young man who made a positive impact on many,” said Deputy Superintendent Dr.Mark Bullimore. “His loss is felt deeply by his family, friends and our entire school community.”Although school is not in session, Excelsior Springs High School opened its doors earlier this week to provide in-person support.
