As National Fire Prevention Week approaches, the dedicated team at the Excelsior Springs Fire Department (ESFD) is diligently preparing to provide valuable fire safety education to the students within the Excelsior Springs School District.National Fire Prevention Week is recognized Oct. 6-12.In the past, the ESFD conducted fire safety sessions at district schools only during Prevention Week. However, this year, the department has made a significant change by extending their efforts throughout the entire month of October.
