Hardin man facing five felony charges
A Hardin man has entered a not-guilty plea while facing five felony charges.Brant K. Nichols, 25, has been arrested for enticement or attempted enticement of a child, actor 21 years of age or older and child less than 15 years of age, and four counts of first-offense sexual misconduct involving a child under 15.Nichols recently appeared before Eighth Judicial Circuit Court Judge Lori J. Baskins, where he waived his right for a formal hearing of the charges and entered a not-guilty plea. Additionally, Baskins declared Nichols indigent and ordered a public defender be assigned to his case.Nichols will appear for a bond reduc- tion hearing at 8:30 a.m. on Dec. 3.
