EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Kansas City Cannabis held a grand opening Sept. 25 at 149 Crown Hill Road in the Crown Hill Shopping Center, next to VaporWyse. KC Cannabis is a medical marijuana business committed to providing cannabis products, with a focus on health, wellness and education to provide the best quality of life for patients and the community, company information states. The day consisted of a ribbon cutting, live music and vendors. Chief of Staff Corey Martin said the company motto is “patients first.” The company endorses having safe products and competitive pricing and is creating a fund to help patients apply for funding for their medication, he said. Martin said the company chose the Excelsior Springs location because the owners grew up in the area.
