From expanding specialty services to supporting community programs, Excelsior Springs Hospital (ESH) continues to broaden its reach beyond traditional patient care.

ESH CEO Kristen DeHart recently shared an update at an Excelsior Springs Chamber luncheon, highlighting the hospital’s growing specialty services and partnerships with organizations working to address health and wellness needs across the community.

DeHart emphasized continued growth in specialty care services is aimed at giving patients more opportunities to receive care close to home. She noted access and timely care are particularly important in rural communities.

Vascular services began earlier this year and are already seeing demand for additional availability, with physicians requesting more days to provide care. Wound care providers are similarly seeking additional time to see patients.
