Native American Heritage Month calls attention to prevention efforts

Each November, communities across the country celebrate Native American Heritage Month to honor the history, traditions, and cultures of Native Americans and Alaska Natives. It is a time set aside to recognize their contributions, learn about their heritage and acknowledge both the past and present challenges faced by Indigenous peoples.
