ORRICK – To celebrate Independence Day and to express gratitude to veterans, representatives from the Orrick Christian Church dropped by the Veterans Community Project Outreach Center in Kansas City to deliver more than 150 items and more than $1,600 in donations. Pastor Art Endlsey and church Board Chairman Tim O’Dell of Orrick, along with Mike and Barbara Britt of Excelsior Springs, met with Development Director Michele Orpin to make the presentation. “As a church, we deeply appreciate the freedom of religion and freedom of speech that we are blessed with in this country. We owe a huge debt of gratitude to veterans that have ensured these privileges,” Endsley said.
