Resource fair connects residents with support
Organizers of the Excelsior Springs Community Resource Fair are offering a closer look at the inspiration and goals behind this growing effort to connect residents with vital services.The fair, set for May 14 from 3-5 p.m. at the Good Samaritan Center’s Great Hall, promises to be more than just a gathering of booths, but also a step toward empowering the community through knowledge, collaboration and access.Organized by the Thrive Excelsior Health and Wellness Task Force, the fair builds on a February networking event that brought together local organizations for the first time.
