For the past four years, a compassionate and dedicated nurse from the Excelsior Springs School District (ESSD) has tirelessly worked to ensure the well-being and health of the students.For her unwavering commitment, Cornerstone Elementary Nurse Cassandra Schutte was recently honored with the Classified Employee of the Month award.“The Classified Employee Recognition Program is designed to honor employees for their outstanding service to staff, students or the public, as well as for other significant contributions to ESSD,” said ESSD Deputy Superintendent Dr. Mark Bullimore.“Cassie had a busy start to the school year that required lots of accommodation and collaboration with many staff members to ensure the health and wellness of highneed students.
