Ana Maria Rivera, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully July 29, 2024, surrounded by her family. Born July 26, 1943, in Matanzas, Cuba, to Valentin and Graciela Rivera, Ana Maria lived a life full of love, faith and passion. In 1973, she made Atlanta her home, where she resided for more than 40 years. Her love for Latin music was wellknown, and her cherished record collection was a testament to her deep connection to her cultural roots. An avid reader, Ana Maria found great joy in books, and her devout faith led her to be an active and dedicated member of the Catholic Church.

Ana Maria was preceded in death by her father, Valentin Rivera; mother, Graciela Alcebo Rivera; sister, Graciela Rivera; son, Francisco Gattorno; and granddaughter, Amanda Gattorno.

She is survived by her loving children: Ana Gattorno, Eddie Gattorno and Graciela Black (Ron). Her legacy also continues through her grandchildren, Gabrielle, Eddie, Brandon, Danielle, Ronald, Jacob and Brooke; and great-grandchildren, Aiden, Ethan, Brody and Madden.

Ana Maria’s warmth, spirit and dedication to her family and faith will be deeply missed. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Known for her sense of humor, which she had until the end, Ana Maria brought joy and laughter to those around her.
