Anna Belle Crowley, a longtime resident of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away in Reddick, Florida, on May 30, 2020.

She was born in Brookfield, Missouri, on April 4, 1922, to Anna and Lee Dolt. She married Lowell Callaway on Oct. 4, 1941. He preceded her in death in 1969. Anna married her second husband, Bob Crowley, in 1972. He passed in 1991.

She is survived by her three children: Ron Callaway and his wife, Barbara, of Harveyville, Kansas; Cheryl Callaway and her husband, Phil DuFresne, of Reddick, Florida, and Bonnie Meyers of Ocala, Florida. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Troy Callaway and Brandi Callaway.

Anna will always be remembered for her fun-loving nature, her sense of humor and her love of her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and her many nieces and nephews. She also will be remembered for her famous red Christmas cake, which was enjoyed by all in the family for many years. She will be remembered for her reminders that, no matter what, she “loved you more.”

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 1, 2020, in the Chapel at the Lathrop Antique Car Museum in Lathrop, Missouri.

Visitations and refreshments will follow the memorial in the event center at the museum. Interment will be at 11 a.m. on Aug. 2, 2020, at the Elmwood Cemetery, Linneus, Missouri. Arrangements are being handled by Roberts Funerals and Cremations of Ocala, Florida, and Wright Funeral Home of Brookfield, Missouri.
