Betty was born Feb. 14, 1954, to Wayne and Martha (Shadwell) Gray in Kansas City. She was the youngest of four and the last to join her parents and siblings in death. Three sisters, Mary Kay, Waynema, Charlene; and one brother, James, preceded her.

Together, Bruce and Betty had three daughters, Katherine “Katie”, Melissa and Kimberly.

Betty was gifted with many talents, including writing poetry, which was her favorite. She wrote several poems that are published in books.

Betty will be remembered as a loving wife, mom, grandmother and great friend.
