Carol Anne (Hutton) White, 77, passed away on June 10, 2022, in Kansas City, MO, after a long illness.

Carol was born on Jan. 2, 1945, in Excelsior Springs, MO, the daughter of Howard and Eva (Jones) Hutton. She was the sixth of seven children. Carol was a 1963 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School. Carol was married to Larry White in 1964 and had two children before their divorce in 1983. Carol worked for a few banking institutions in Excelsior Springs and Liberty before retiring from the Clay County Collector’s Office in 2005. Carol loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and three sisters.

Survivors include one sister, Linda Wasson of Westminster, CO; one son and daughter-in-law, Darren and Tammy White of Liberty, MO; one daughter and son-in-law, Staci and Charlie Clevenger of Excelsior Springs, MO; two granddaughters and grandsons-in-law, Mercedes and Jerry Jackson of Excelsior Springs, and Cierra and Gage Wagner of Liberty; two grandsons, Alexander White of Liberty, and Drake Clevenger of Excelsior Springs; two great-grandsons, Steven Wagner of Liberty, and soon-to-arrive Bennett Jackson of Excelsior Springs.

A visitation will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2022, followed by funeral services at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home.
