Debbie Weidler, a devoted wife, mother & grandmother, 70 years of age, of Excelsior Springs, MO, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022, at Liberty Hospital with her family by her side. 

She was born Mar. 3rd, 1952, in Fort Benning, GA, to the late Reece D & the late Glenda Davis. 

Debbie met the love of her life, Edwin Weidler, while working together at Intercontinental Engineering & Manufacturing Corporation in Parkville, MO. They were married on May 23, 1986, joining their families & making their home in Excelsior Springs, MO. 

Debbie was the forever optimist, finding the good in everyone and every situation. She was an avid reader and never found a puzzle she couldn’t solve. She was her grandkids’ biggest fan, never missing any of their activities. She will be missed the most for her big heart, loving nature, and the way she brought the family together to create lasting memories.  

She is survived by her husband, Edwin Weidler; her sons, Steve Querry and wife Megan, and Mark Querry and wife Amy; and stepdaughter, Misty Weidler Pressley; her grandkids, Tyler Icenhour, Kirstyn LaFrenz and husband Aaron, Collin Querry and girlfriend Kayce, Ally Querry, Emily Whitmore and husband Shawn, Tanner Breece, Anthony Pressley, and Brody Querry; her great-grandkids, Ryan Klemencic, Ellington Whitmore, and Joelle LaFrenz; her sister Connie Williams; and many nieces & nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Reece Davis and Richard Davis; and sister, Angela Culpepper. 

A visitation will be held on Thursday, Sept. 22, 2022, from 2-3 p.m. at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs with a memorial service to follow beginning at 3 p.m.
