Edgar (Ed) Alvin Haney, 83, of Polo, MO passed on Jan. 4, 2022.

Ed was born on Jan. 1, 1939, in Trenton, MO to Clifford and Flavia (Arbuckle) Haney. He married Freda Pitts in 1957 and they had two children, Eddie and Vickie.

Ed, also called "Too-Tall," grew up and worked in the Kansas City area as a glazier. He owned H&H Glass Company in Excelsior Springs for 30 years, remembered as a family glass business where both his children worked, and his grandchildren would regularly visit.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Freda; sister, Marsha; daughter, Vickie; son-in-law, Dan; grandson, Joseph; granddaughter, Samantha and her husband, Tim; and two great-grandchildren, Hazel and Briar.

A funeral was held on Friday, Jan. 7, 2022, at the Bross and Spidle Funeral Home, 217 W. Broadway, Excelsior Springs, MO, 64024. Visitation was from 10-11 a.m. and the service followed at 11 a.m.
