Edward Stephen Emery, 50, Excelsior Springs, MO. passed away December 22, 2021, at Liberty Hospital. Visitation will be held 9-10am with service following Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Crescent Lake Christian Center.  Burial at Hillcrest Cemetery, Excelsior Springs, MO.  Memorial contributions are suggested to CLCC to be used towards a memorial for Edward. 

Mr. Emery was born September 10, 1971, at Clark Air Base, Philippines.  Edward graduated from the Ford Asset program at Longview College and was a mechanic for many years.  He then went to the University of Central Missouri graduating from the Law Enforcement Program.  He was a police officer for Orrick, MO and later became a Ranger for Clay County at Smithville Lake.  He ended his career working at the Elms Hotel.  He was a Deacon at CLCC and enjoyed serving coffee and donuts on Sundays.  He loved hunting, fishing, taxidermy and working on cars. 

He is survived by his wife, Heidi of the home; parents, Edward and Ruth Emery; brother, Stephen and wife Kathy Emery; sister, Amy and husband Bryon Jeffers; nephews, niece and many other loved ones and friends.
