Excelsior Springs, Missouri -Geri Lee Clevenger, 88, passed away on August 17, 2021.  Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, visitation at 1:00 PM Monday, August 23, 2021 at Pisgah Baptist Church, Excelsior Springs, Mo  

Geri Clevenger was born May 30, 1933 to Raymond and Gladys Fisher in Kansas City Ks. She married C.W. Clevenger in Excelsior Springs, Mo on Sept. 30, They resided in Excelsior Springs.  

Geri graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a BA degree. She taught school for many years in Missouri and Iowa. She served as President of the Excelsior Springs Business and Professional Women and was elected Woman of the Year.  

Geri was a member of the First Baptist Church of Excelsior Springs for 50 years and later a member Pisgah Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Donald Chambers, her daughter Glenda Easter, and two great grandchildren Lincoln Odell Westmorland, Emma Kathryn Marks. She is survived by her husband C.W. Clevenger, Excelsior Springs, Mo, two sons, two daughters, and a son-in-law. Jerry(Vickie) Clevenger, Ft Myers, Fl, Chris(Tisha) Clevenger, Excelsior Springs, Cathy Clevenger, Excelsior Springs, Stephanie Clevenger, Excelsior Springs, Rob Easter, Lee’s Summit. Grandchildren, Larry and William Acree, Ellaina Davis, Joy and Jacob Easter, Brian and Katy Clevenger, Rose Clevenger, Aiden and Mavrick Hamilton, and 19 great grand children.
