Janet Kaye Campbell, 69, passed away Aug. 16, 2022, she joins her husband of 46 years, Donnie who passed away July 26, 2022. A memorial visitation will be held 4-7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, with memorial service following at Lawson Baptist Church, 18603 US-69 Hwy, Lawson, MO.  A private family inurnment will be held at Lawson Cemetery, Lawson, MO.  

Janet was born Mar. 31, 1953, in Excelsior Springs, MO.  She was a graduate of Lawson High School.  Janet’s children and grandchildren were her greatest joy and she was often seen supporting them in their activities.  She was a member of the Xi Mu Beta Sorority.  Janet enjoyed traveling and took many trips with her family and friends. She also babysat countless children in Lawson and always provided a welcome and loving home.  Janet was a friend to many and will be missed by all.  

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie; father, Nevin McNeely; brother, Roger McNeely; niece, Kerri Lewis Brock; stepfather-in-law, Danny Seely; brother-in-law, Scott Seely; brother-in-law, Larry Mills.  

She is survived by her daughter, Angie (Dusty) Smidt; daughter, Dawn (Wes) Carpenter; son, Kyle (Cortney) Campbell; son, Brett (Hillary) Campbell; grandchildren, Dakota, Preston (Bethany), Tallon and Rydge Smidt, Bailey (Dylan) Wade, Braden Carpenter, Brystan Locke, Bella Popplewell, Jordan Knutter, Destiny, Easton, Kyson Campbell, John Godley, Caelyn, Chasyn Campbell, Hailey Godley; great-grandchildren, Ellori, Ivy and Kamdin (Bo); mother, Imogene McNeely; brothers and sisters, Joyce (Frank) Adams, Opal (David) Lewis, Linda (Stan) Phipps, Steve (Penny) McNeely, Alice (Rick) Lammert, James (Jennifer) McNeely, Jenny (Dave) Siebert, Mark (Lori) McNeely, Teresa McNeely; father-in-law, Don (Linda) Campbell; mother-in-law, Joyce Seely;  sister-in-law, Pam (Steve) Zumalt; brothers-in-law, Steve and Mike Seely; sister-in-law, Kim Sochocki;  many nieces and nephews and friends.
