Joan Marie Martin, 65, of Trimble, Missouri died at 11:12 AM Monday, Dec. 28, 2020 at North Kansas City Hospital Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri surrounded by family. 

She was born Jan. 1, 1955 in Fairfax, Missouri to Edgar and Shirley Radley. She married John Martin on August 22, 1981.

Also surviving are her mother Shirley Radley of Excelsior Springs, Missouri; husband John Martin of Trimble, Missouri; two sons Chuck (Jennifer) Martin of Drexel, Missouri, Bryon Martin of Drexel, Missouri; two daughters Angela Oelke of Freeman, Missouri, Victoria (Brent) Decker of Mexico, Missouri; eleven grandchildren and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Her father, Edgar Radley preceded her in death. 

Joan was a resident of Trimble, Missouri since 1985. She graduated from Excelsior Springs High School in 1973 and was a clerk for the United States Postal Service in 1976 until retirement in 2012. 

She was an active member of Mount Zion Baptist Church running video and Sunday School secretary. She loved making memories with her family and friends riding horses, gardening, and camping. She was an avid photographer and family tour guide. She always made time to help anyone in need.

Visitation was held 6-8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 1, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Edgerton, MO. The Funeral Service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Edgerton, MO. The Graveside Service was at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 2 at West Union Cemetery, 23619 Hwy Y, Peculiar, MO.
