Aug. 25, 1989-Oct. 17, 2024 35 years old Jonathan was born to Jonathan and Zelpha Rodgers. He has an older twin sibling and two younger brothers, Kevin Rodgers and Andrew Rodgers. He was born and raised in Kansas City. He attended Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. He loved the outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting, bike riding – basically anything outdoors.

He ran track and field in middle school. His favorite pastime was spending time with his children.

He was well-known, liked and loved by everyone who knew him. He was always willing to help anyone who needed help, even a stranger!

He married his teenage love, Holly Marie Howard, June 28, 2008. They had three beautiful children: Roslynn P. Rodgers, Jonathan A. Rodgers Jr. and Nevaeh’Lynn M. Rodgers.

During his time here with us, his main career was a truck driver.

Jonathan joins his father and twin in heaven for eternal peace. He leaves behind his wife, Holly; children; two brothers; and mother.

Services were scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 29, with the visitation at 10 a.m. and the services at 11, performed by Pastor Jonathan Hubbs, at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Excelsior Springs. He was to be laid to rest at Crowley Cemetery, followed by a dinner at Lane Baptist Church, 9003 E. 87th St., Raytown.
