Lindsey Elton Chaney was born on Jan. 11, 1939, to Edward Howard Chaney and Cleo Patra (Burgess) Chaney in Excelsior Springs. He passed away Feb. 3, 2021.

Lindsey married Sandra Watson on Sept. 1, 1961. They were approaching their 60th anniversary.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; sons, Lindsey Mitchell Chaney of Excelsior Springs and Lorren Michael Chaney of Ray County; and three grandchildren Lindsey Jordan Chaney, Max Montgomery Chaney an Lauren Brooke Chaney.

Graveside services were Friday, Feb. 5, at Lawson Cemetery.

Arrangements were in care of Bross & Spidle Funeral Home-Lawson Chapel.
