Mary Ann Slater, 68, of Lawson passed away on May 29, 2023.

Mrs. Slater was born on June 25, 1954, to Ralph and Kathryn Tritschler. She was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio.

Mary Ann graduated in 1972 from Carroll High School and moved in 1974 to Missouri. She married Robert Slater in 1975, and through this union, they had one daughter, Lisa (Slater) Martinez.

She worked for Hallmark from 1977 until 2011, when she retired.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Kathryn Tritschler; brothers, Gary and Michael Tritschler; and sister, Donna Moretto.

Survivors include her husband, Robert Slater; daughter, Lisa (Slater) Martinez; son-in-law, Nicholas Martinez; grandsons, Kellan and Brahm; three nieces, Kim Moretto, Kara Foulk and Dena Forck; and other nieces and nephews.
