Mary Lou McCullough, 88, of Elkhorn, MO, passed away on Oct. 22, 2021, at Liberty Hospital.

Mary was born Nov. 22, 1932, in South Dakota, the daughter of Albert and Evelyn Ross. She married Lawrence Gilbert McCullough of Kansas City on April 14, 1949. They were married for 51 years.

Mary was a homemaker, gardener, she enjoyed canning, sewing, and crocheting, loved farm life and her favorite place to visit was Colorado. She always enjoyed her family and friends. Her greatest joy was all her children and grandkids. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one brother, the late Sgt. Major Albert Lee, and his wife, Phyllis Ross.  

She is survived by her three children, Larry (Butch) McCullough of Elkhorn, Belinda Dolt and husband Gene of Lawson, and Kathy Cook and husband Larry of Orrick; five grandchildren, Kemberley, Jamie, Shane, Brandy, and Jody; 13 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Robert (Bobby) Ross and wife Melva of Kansas City, and David Ross and wife Connie of Gladstone, MO; and several nieces and nephews. 

Visitation was Thursday, Oct. 28, 2021, from 1-2 p.m. at Bross and Spidle Funeral Home in Lawson, MO. Funeral services followed at 2 p.m. Burial was at Southpoint Cemetery in Orrick, MO.
