Ricky Wayne Alexander, 61, of Excelsior Springs, MO passed away on Mar. 17, 2022, at home.

Mr. Alexander was born in Richmond, MO on Nov. 3, 1960, at Ray County Hospital. Ricky was in the marching band in high school playing the tuba. He loved bowling and was an avid dog trainer, even owning his own dog training business. He loved his bird, Chico, but most of all he loved to ride his motorcycle. He was a member of the Elks Lodge and Eagles Club. He worked as a carpet and concrete layer for many years.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Erica Alexander.

Survivors include his children, Crystal and Jamie Alexander; stepchildren, Christina Soetaert and Alexandra Littlewood; parents, Jim and Hazel Alexander; brother, Tom (Anna) Alexander; and grandchildren, Airl, Ethan, Brayden, Nevaeh, Allie, Emma, Nate, Ella, Caroline, Carlee, Carmen, and Chloe.

He will be missed by all.

A visitation will be held on Monday, Mar. 28, 2022, at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs at 10 a.m. A funeral service will begin at 11 a.m., with a graveside service at Woodland Cemetery, Richmond, MO to follow.
