Shirley L. Crabtree, 86, Liberty, passed away Feb. 25, 2021, at her home.

Visitation was held 10-11 a.m., Monday, March 1, and the service followed at Bross & Spidle Funeral Home in Excelsior Springs, with burial at Crown Hill Cemetery, Excelsior Springs.

Shirley was born Sept. 16, 1934, to William and Pearl Soutter in Excelsior Springs. She was a 1952 graduate of Excelsior Springs High School.

Shirley and Howard Crabtree were married in 1953. She enjoyed playing the organ, drums and guitar. She also sang at the First Baptist Church-Williston, Florida. She enjoyed being with her family and her puppies.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers; and one son, Howard (Bud) Crabtree.

She is survived by her sons, Gary W. (Cathy) Crabtree and Brian Crabtree; grandchildren, Brittany (Kevin) Buell, Austin Crabtree and Samuel Mason (Katelen) Crabtree; and her sister, Betty Mills.
