Susan Kay (Endsley) Jones, 70, of Liberty, formerly of Orrick, passed away Friday morning, May 7, 2021, at Liberty Hospital.

Susan was born on Oct. 16, 1950, in Kansas City to Walter Thomas Endsley and Betty Ann (Fulte) Endsley.

Susan was raised in Orrick, and she attended and graduated from Orrick High School. Following high school, she attended Central Methodist University. Susan was united in marriage to Thomas J. Jones Jr. on Sept. 29, 1979. He preceded her in death in 2014.

Susan was best described as a fun-loving person who was always up for any adventure. Susan loved the outdoors and would jump at any opportunity to go hunting or fishing.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas James Jones Jr.; parents, Walter Thomas Endsley and Betty Ann (Fulte) Endsley; sister, Rose Ann (Endsley) Millsap; brothers, Thomas Endsley and Michael Endsley; and an infant grandson, Dawson Thomas Jones.

She is survived by her daughters, Shannon Smith and husband Rob of Auburn, Georgia, and Brandy McDermott and husband Kevin of Ballwin; three stepsons, Dan Jones and wife Kathy, and Kevin Jones and wife Joely, both of Kansas City, and Ned Jones of Omaha, Nebraska; grandchildren, Hannah, Jasmine, Logan, Anna, Ariel, Mackenzie, Danny, Camden, Avery, Caitlyn, Michael and Andrew; and brother, Terry Endsley and wife Marjorie of Orrick.

Susan requested to be cremated. Memorial services will be determined and held at a later date.
