Wayne L. Brown, 63, of Excelsior Springs, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 12, 2021, at his home.

Wayne was born on Aug. 29, 1957, to the late Henry and the late Nellie (Smith) Brown. He was one of six children. He married Debbie Bloss on Oct. 27, 1979, and they remained married until her death on May 28, 2020.

Wayne enjoyed working on his cars, his 53, 37, and 46, as well as his Harley. He also enjoyed sitting under his hut, camping and drinking beer. He retired after 40 plus years in the printing industry. He loved his grandkids and spending time with them. He also loved Sunday dinners with his family. He was a good dad, and a great friend.

Wayne is survived by his son, Josh (Rachel) Brown of Excelsior Springs; daughter, Crisha (Jeff) Zimmerman of Excelsior Springs; one brother, Jesse Brown; two sisters, Velma Brown and Audrey Grover; four grandchildren, Gracie, Carter, Ryder, and Emrie; his fiancée, Traci Davis of Texas; and his beloved dogs, Copper, Buster, and Bailey.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Nellie (Smith) Brown; his wife, Debbie Brown; his sister, Elizabeth Day; and his brother, Russel Light.

All services will be at Hidden Valley Funeral Home of Excelsior Springs. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 16, 2021, from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral will be Thursday, June 17, 2021, starting at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Woodland Cemetery following the service.
