William “Willie” Trice Holman, 57, passed away peacefully, on April 7, 2021, at home.

Willie was born and raised in Excelsior Springs to the late Ruby “Atkins” Marrant and Junior Holman.

Willie married the love of his life, Brandi, on Nov. 25, 2017. Willie spent 20 years with the love of his life, Brandi “Griffin” Holman.

The life of the party, Willie also would lend a helping hand to others and was loved by many. He loved to spend time with family, fire up the grill and cook dinner. Willie loved traveling with his wife, as long as she did not have him in a car for more than four hours. Willie took great pride in his granddaughters, his eyes lighting up and heart growing with every moment spent with them. Willie loved to share his life lessons and knowledge. He will be remembered by many for his many shared stories and jokes, and charismatic personality.

He is survived by his wife, Brandi; son, Tyler (Jessica Eastep) Holman; siblings, Sherry (Howard) Ballinger, Ranny Holman, Lanny Holman, Tammy (Ray) Forte and Jodi (Brian) Dye; grandchildren, Lillyn Holman and Josie Holman; and many nieces and nephews, and extended family members. Last but not least, he is survived by his beloved animals, Jake, Bugsby, Lucy, Ethel, Peanut Butter, and Willy Nelson.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Marrant; and brother, Troy Holman.
