As the annual celebration of American workers’ social and economic achievements approaches, I can’t help but reminisce about the tradition I share with my family.This year, we are commemorating the 130th anniversary of Labor Day. For as long as I can remember, I have eagerly anticipated the three-day weekend spent at the serene Lake of the Ozarks with my father. The tranquil setting and quality time together make this tradition truly special for us. Every year, this tradition continues to flourish, marked by the union of my father, Rob Jamison, to my lovely stepmother, Traci, alongside the presence of my daughter, Aurora, who now joins us on our special occasions.The Lake of the Ozarks holds a special place in my heart, not only because of this tradition but because it used to be my home.
