Excelsior Springs continues closing in on another 20-win season in varsity baseball.The boys were 13-8 and had won three straight and six of seven entering Thursday’s road meeting with Belton. Landon Marcum, a first-year high schooler, powered the ballclub in the April 15 defeat by going 3-for-3, including a double, with two RBIs.
