BE HOME SOONExcelsior Springs varsity softball coach Megan Gilbertson and her Tigers will soon be home for a while – for the most part.After four straight road games scheduled for this week, the girls will return to Miracle Field to host a tournament Saturday. They’ll then play four of their last five regular-season games at home and host the Class 3 District 8 Tournament.The softballers started their string of road games Monday by sweeping a Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference-Blue Division doubleheader with Winnetonka, 5-2, 13-0.
