A GIFT
Graceland University is getting a gift, according to Excelsior Springs varsity volleyball coach Cindy Price.
That gift is senior Lillah Shue, who has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for Graceland, an NAIA-affiliated school headquartered in Lamoni, Iowa.
“Lillah is a versatile player,” Price stated Oct. 9 via email. “She has the ability to play as a setter, hitter or libero, and works just as hard and is dependable in any of those positions. Lillah has a never-give-up attitude and excitement for the sport that is contagious. She works hard at every practice and in every match. She is a team leader, both vocally and through her actions. Graceland is lucky to get a player like Lillah.”
At press time, Shue was slated to play her final regular-season match as a Tiger Thursday against Raytown South on the road. She and the rest of the Tigers will begin postseason play next week.
