CLOSE FINISHExcelsior Springs senior Gabby Scrivener can say she finished her high school girls golf career as one of the top 30 golfers in the state in Class 3.She was nearly one of the top 20 girls golfers. Scrivener placed 26th at the Class 3 state tournament, which concluded Tuesday at Twin Hills Country Club in Joplin. She shot a 186 for the two-day competition – one stroke shy of finishing in a tie for 22nd, two strokes shy of finishing in a tie for 20th and three strokes shy of finishing in a tie for 18th.Scrivener shot a 96 (+24) for her first 18-hole, par-72 round.
