Consider yourselves lucky, residents, athletes

The residents and student athletes of Excelsior Springs are lucky to have fantastic facilities available to them.
Over the past several years, the school district has taken pride in building stateof- the-art fields, stadiums and courts. Frankly, they’re some of the best facilities in the metro area.
As proof, consider Tiger Stadium, where many football and soccer games are played, and track meets take place. This spring, a new digital scoreboard was erected there, allowing the district to keep pace with most of the schools in the Greater Kansas City Suburban Conference, which already have that type of technology. Moreover, within the past few years, the synthetic turf has been replaced to help improve playing conditions for football and soccer – and the look of the field. And within the past three years, the track circling the field has been renovated to replace cracks and crevices.
