Dolt agrees to wrestle at Baker University
EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – Ayden Dolt is seeing the results of his dedication to wrestling.
In February, the Excelsior Springs senior capped his high school career by winning the Class 2 152-pound state title. In addition, he has signed a letter of intent to wrestle at Baker University in Baldwin City, Kansas.
Those achievements are part of a career that began at age 5 with the Lawson Youth Wrestling Team while Dolt lived in Lawson. He went on to wrestle for the Greater Heights Wrestling Club and Victory Wrestling Club before starting high school at Liberty, where he was a two-time Class 4 state qualifier.
Before his junior year, Dolt came to Excelsior Springs. As a junior, he won a Class 2 state title at 145. His championship senior year also included surpassing 150 career victories.
