Sam Webb, Antonio Pierce and Maxx Crosby have me pondering what it means to hate a sports team. As many of you know, Webb is an Excelsior Springs High School graduate. As many of you also know, he plays pro football in the NFL for Las Vegas. He signed with Las Vegas in the spring of 2022 and made the Raiders’ regular-season roster. In 2023, he got cut by the Raiders and then signed to their practice squad, then was on Carolina’s regular-season roster briefly before returning to Las Vegas’ practice squad. In January, he signed a reserve/futures contract.
