ES netters commemorate historic campaign
Excelsior Springs coach Riche Marsh and his girls tennis team recently celebrated their historic season with an endof- season banquet.“This was a very special season for our ladies with (them) competing at such a high level and finding success throughout the year,” Marsh said.Marsh handed out five awards during the Nov. 5 event at Excelsior Springs High School to help commemorate the special campaign: Most Valuable Player, Hustle Award, Tiger Award, Most Improved Award and Newcomer of the Year.Shelby Stodden was named Most Valuable Player.Malaya Tedesco, Stodden’s doubles partner, received the Hustle Award.Megan Reigel received the Tiger Award.
