EXCELSIOR SPRINGS – The Tigers look to continue improving upon their last two seasons of girls tennis with the return of five players who saw varsity action last season. Junior Anna Selby will start in the No. 1 singles position. Selby secured the top spot last season and never relinquished it, finishing 2020 with a third-place finish at district competition. Senior Amanda Mayfield will grab the No. 2 singles spot. Kaylie Como will start her senior season as the No. 3 singles player, with junior Emma Kern starting at No. 4 singles. Two first-year players, junior Lauren Mueller and freshman Megan Riegel, are vying for the No. 5 spot, with the No. 6 position going to whoever does not claim the fifth spot.
