RETURN TO ’TONKA As has been the case for roughly a decade, Excelsior Springs will start its varsity boys soccer campaign with a tournament.Specifically, the Winnetonka Tournament.This year’s tournament is scheduled for Sept. 2-6, Missouri State High School Activities Association information states. The Tigers are slated to follow that tournament by hosting a tournament Sept. 9-13.Excelsior Springs began opening at Winnetonka in 2015.BACK IN KC?Sam Webb might be playing pro football at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium again in a few months.Webb, a 2016 Excelsior Springs High School graduate, has spent three seasons in the NFL, much of it with Las Vegas.
