At press time, Excelsior Springs varsity baseball coach Aaron Holst and his Tigers were on the verge of making school history.By crushing Kansas City Northeast 23-0 Tuesday at Excelsior Springs, the Tigers were set to play Benton of St. Joseph for the Class 4 District 15 title Thursday, also at Excelsior Springs.
