Orrick was nearly balanced between the run and the pass in defeating Santa Fe in Week 8 of varsity 8-man football.Specifically, quarterback Xavior Gaskins was nearly balanced in utilizing the run and the pass.Officially, the junior led the Bearcats to their 48-22 Oct. 18 home win with 110 yards and two touchdowns on nine carries. The Bearcats (3-5) had 137 yards rushing overall.Gaskins also completed six of 11 passes for 159 yards and three touchdowns.Junior Trent Windsor and senior Logan Dennis were Gaskins’ go-to receivers.
