EXCELSIOR SPINRGS – Fall sports kicked into high gear Monday. Monday was the first day fall sports programs could begin practicing for the season, in accordance with Missouri State High School Activities Association regulations. Like other student-athletes around the state, Excelsior Springs student-athletes stepped onto their respective fields and courts. Monday marked some personnel changes on ESHS’ rosters, as an incoming crop of freshmen began their high school athletic endeavors. The head coaches, however, remained the same from last season. No doubt, the beginning of practices has fans wondering how the Tigers will fare in their varsity fall sports. They will start getting some answers to their questions in two weeks.
