Lilly Goetz isn’t resting long after her medal-winning season of high school girls wrestling.The Excelsior Springs sophomore, who placed sixth at Class 1 state competition, plans to prepare for the 202627 campaign by wrestling in offseason tournaments. She also plans to do offseason workouts, including those at Excelsior Springs’ open-mat sessions, she said.Excelsior Springs girls coach Scott Schwab expects Goetz to participate in the school’s freestyle program, too.
