Lilly Smith, Haylee Ray, Lilly Goetz, Analese Happy and Bristol Sharp returned to Excelsior Springs from the Lathrop Turkey Break Invitational as champions.

Smith won the 235-pound title at the Nov. 26 high school girls wrestling tournament. Both of her wins were by pin.

Ray was the 170B champion, going 3-0. Her three wins were by pin.

Like Ray, Goetz went 3-0, with her three victories coming by pin. She took the 120 title.

Happy went 2-0 to claim the 115 crown. Her wins were by fall.

Sharp went 2-0 and took the 110 title. She got pins in both matches.

Excelsior Springs also produced one runner-up and two third-placers. Kaitlynn Foster was the second-place finisher, winning her first two matches by fall before dropping the 125 title match by pin.

Emily Hilliard and Kennedi Winford each took third. Hilliard, a first-year high schooler, went 1-2 at 145. Winford, a sophomore, went 1-1 at 105.
